Partnership sees Travel Ledger offer travel companies automated and integrated solutions
Travel Ledger teams up with Adyen for integrated banking and virtual cards
B2B billing and settlement platform, Travel Leger, has announced a partnership with FinTech platform for e-Commerce businesses, Adyen, to leverage Adyen's banking network and card-issuing capabilities.
The integration will use Adyen's banking licenses, multi-currency settlement infrastructure, global acquiring network, and virtual card platform combined with Travel Leger's settlement platform to offer customers a seamless B2B payment experience from a single digital account.
This will allow Travel Ledger participants to settle with both connected partners on the platform and non-connected suppliers, through virtual cards and via standard bank payouts supported by Adyen’s regulated banking infrastructure.
This move will see lower settlement costs for travel companies with its closest partners and process all remaining payments, card or bank, through one centralised platform.
“We are excited to partner with Adyen, one of the most respected and innovative financial technology companies in the world and already well established in the travel space” said Roberto Da Re, CEO of Travel Ledger.
“This collaboration represents a major step forward in our mission to simplify and modernize B2B payments for the global travel industry.
"With Adyen’s banking and payments infrastructure, we can now offer our customers a single platform to manage both bank and card payments fully integrated, fully digital, and purpose-built for travel.”
“Adyen’s goal has always been to simplify payments for global businesses,” said Nicole Olbe, managing director at Adyen.
“Our partnership with Travel Ledger is a natural next step to bring modern, integrated banking solutions to the travel industry.
"Together, we will help travel companies streamline and operate with the same speed and flexibility that is expected of the digital travel economy.”
