Leisure travel platform leverages technology to allow for improved travel gifting
Curates Spaces launches Gift a Trip feature using data
Curated Spaces, the design-led travel discovery and booking platform, has unveiled ‘Gift a Trip’, its new way to gift travel.
In a shift away from the long-standing era of IOU gifting, Curated Spaces has designed this new feature to offer a "modern alternative".
It's a move that is said to reflect how people want to give now, "meaningful, personal, beautifully executed, and free from the overwhelm".
It begins with anonymous preference gathering; a subtle way for gifters to discover someone’s ideal dates, dream destinations, and taste in spaces without ruining the surprise.
Using these preferences, Curated Spaces generates a personalised shortlist of stays that match their style and availability.
The gifter can then browse, choose a favourite, and book directly through the platform - no guesswork, no endless research, no risk of gifting something that misses the mark.
Once the trip is booked, the giver receives a personalised gift note that feels deeply considered, not last-minute.
“People love the idea of gifting experiences, but planning a trip for someone else feels overwhelming without their involvement,” says Alex Oldfield, co-founder of Curated Spaces.
“Gift a Trip solves that. You quietly learn what they love, Curated shows you the stays that fit the bill and the budget and you get to give a gift that feels incredibly thoughtful without the stress.”
Gift a Trip is designed for year-round use as the trip can be revealed at any time.
