Travolution names Hayley West as new Head of International Partnerships

West joins from cruise technology specialist Traveltek

Europe's leading B2B travel tech publication Travolution has announced the appointment of Hayley West as its new Head of International Partnerships.

Appointed to lead the commercial side of its media and events offerings, West will be tasked with growing Travolution's portfolio further.

She joins from cruise technology specialist Traveltek, where she was spent six years.

As head of strategic growth she straddled both B2B and B2C aspects of business and managed a portfolio of customers.

She also oversaw all webinars and events alongside her involvement in its AWS migration.

West has more than 25 years' experience in the travel and technology industry and has previously held positions across operations, product and marketing for brands such as Cruise.co.uk, Systems Utilised and accommodation tech startup SETnet global.

She will report into Kate Harden-England, editor of Travolution. Harden-England said: "2024 is a poignant year for the brand as it approaches its 20th year, and as it expands to better serve other subsectors of the industry including hotel tech and hospitality tech, and builds its presence from a UK and European-centric publication to one that covers the Middle East too.

"As the first female editor of Travolution, I'm beyond thrilled to welcome Hayley and have an all-female team.

"Hayley's experience is invaluable and coming from client side, her understanding of what we need to deliver for our clients will be second-to-none."

West said: "I am delighted to have joined Travolution and to be part of a fantastic team.

"I will specialise in introducing clients to new markets, connecting with the travel and hospitality sectors in order to grow their businesses.

"I look forward to making new connections and meeting you at upcoming Travolution events."

Daniel Wagner, global business director of Jacobs Media - the parent company of Travolution, added: "We are absolutely delighted to have Hayley on board with Travolution.

"Hayley brings a wealth of experience from both a pure travel and pure technology perspective so we are convinced that she will bring considerable value to both the suppliers and buyers of the Travolution community."

West will be at ITB Berlin next month, where she will host meetings with clients and support Travolution editor, Kate Harden-England, during her panel on the eTravel Track - TTA Forum on March 6.
