The flight comparison website makes 19th position in the fourth annual Sunday Times International Track 200 listing of the UK’s private businesses with the fastest growing overseas sales.


The Scottish company saw average overseas sales growth of almost 130% to £21.2 million in the past year out of total sales of £33.5 million.


Two thirds of visitors to the site are now from overseas, a proportion that is set to rise further following the opening of offices in Beijing, Singapore and Miami.


Attractions tickets firm Leisure Pass comes in 55th place with 76.80% per cent of overseas sales amounting to £11.9 million in 2012.


Air charter broker Hunt & Palmer made 108th position with overseas sales up to £28.2 million last year, representing more than 45% of business.


Rocco Forte Hotels, with 11 luxury properties, generated sales of £130.7 million from overseas visitors, placing it in 121th position in the listing. The company plans to open hotels in Marrakesh, Jeddah, Cairo and Luxor.

ellors comes in 160th position with a third of sales generated overseas representing £17.1 million in 2012. The Bolton-based company, founded by David Speakman in 1994, has expended into Ireland, Holland, Australia, Canada, South Africa and Dubai.


Inbound wholesaler JacTravel made 191th position with more than a quarter of sales coming from overseas as international bookings hit £101.4 million in 2012. The business is being expanded in the Middle East, India and China.
