Trip Affiliates Network scores $4.5m in Series A

The company hopes to accelerate growth and adoption of its direct booking and online travel services across Asia with it

The cloud-based technology solutions provider for the travel and hospitality sector, Trip Affiliates Network has secured $4.5M Series A.

With this latest successful Series A round, Trip Affiliates Network (TA Network) plans to use the funds to expand in other regions, including the Greater China region and Asia Pacific where there is strong demand for its services.

The company that specialises in mission-critical enterprise software systems has already raised over $12m. 

This new funding will see Asia Pacific hotels, travel wholesalers’ operators and destination management companies, come together in a single open travel ecosystem.

“Since inception, TA Network has established itself as a technological innovator, having developed proprietary know-how through full vertical integration, owning system development and testing operations entirely in-house,” said Josef Foo, co-founder and COO.

“By providing maximum reliability, cost-efficiency, and agile solutions, we believe our high degree of automation allows for future scalability to serve increasing market demand.”

Ho Siang Twang, co-founder and CEO, said: “Our mission remains steadfast in the creation of an open travel ecosystem thriving on shared cloud-based digital infrastructure services.”

He added that the funding is “timely with the rising need for digitalization as both inbound and outbound travel plans continue to gain speed across the Asian market.

The company believe if they “empower digitally with continuous improvements in process automation, business intelligence, and customer delivery,” they will achieve sustainable growth.

The investment will be used to hire resources and on-ground marketing activities, as well as to deepen its product offering.
