Australia and New Zealand unique holidays specialist TravelEssence launces in the UK

The bespoke online retailer works with 2,000 small accommodation providers to offer a 'live like a local' experience

Bespoke Australia and New Zealand holidays specialist TravelEssence is expanding to the UK. 

Founded by New Zealander Andrew Morten in 2006, the company has become a market leader in personalised travel within Europe.

The firm says it offers a “uniquely local way of travelling” by taking a personal approach with clients and suppliers. 

Each holiday it creates is unique and custom-made because clients have their own wishes and preferences, the firm said.

TravelEssence works directly with over 2,000 hand-selected accommodation providers to offer a local lifestyle experience for customers who by stay with Australian or New Zealand hosts.

It focuses on holidays away from the main tourist areas to give clients an authentic local experience whilst supporting small businesses. 

Morten said: “As a New Zealander, I want travellers to be able to experience Down Under the same way as the locals do.

“The locals know exactly what places make their country special and unique, and that is the experience they want to share with their clients.” 

TravelEssence has its head office located in Zeist, in The Netherlands, and branches in several locations in Germany.
