Accommodation booking website Booking.com, has added its 600,000th property, a farmhouse in Bouteilles-Saint-Sébastien, France.
The 600,000 properties represent 28 different types, with 70% of accommodation listed going beyond hotel properties to include holiday rentals such as villas and apartments in major cities, plus more adventurous accommodations such as tree houses, castles and lighthouses.
The 500,000th property was added in July 2014. The site covers over 70,000 destinations across 200 countries.
