The 500,000th property has been added to the inventory offered by Booking.com.
The Leonardo Hotel in Berlin becomes the latest addition to the Priceline-owned accommodation site which claims more than 625,000 room nights booked a day.
The company now offers accommodation in 201 countries and 61,702 destinations.
Chief operating officer Gillian Tans said: “Reaching this significant milestone demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with a diverse range of accommodation wherever in the world they want to stay.
