Ubico and Acai Travel strategic partnership accelerates travel automation

Partnership leverages AI

Ubico, the corporate travel management brand of World2Meet (W2M) one of Spain’s most ambitious vertically integrated tourism groups, has announced a strategic partnership with Acai Travel, the purpose-built AI provider for the global travel industry.

While the agreement is signed at a group level, its initial implementation will take place within Ubico, which operates as part of the ATPI network.

This marks the beginning of a broader group-wide initiative to incorporate AI-powered agents across corporate, leisure, and wholesale operations.

Acai Travel’s Agentic API will be embedded within Ubico’s service ecosystem to enable faster, smarter, and more scalable travel support.

The solution is being rolled out in Ubico’s Microsoft Dynamics-based CRM environment, providing co-pilot and autonomous support, all while integrating seamlessly with GDS, NDC, and non-GDS content.

“We move fast. Our business is growing at incredible speed, and we need partners who understand what that means operationally,” said Alejandro de la Mata, head of corporate services and solutions at W2M’s corporate division.

“We built Ubico from scratch to challenge the legacy TMC model. Partnering with Acai allows us to go even further, building a tech-enabled, agent-augmented service model that truly reflects what a next-generation TMC should be.”

This partnership reinforces Ubico’s strategy of reducing reliance on traditional workflows while strengthening a service model that is efficient, scalable and, above all, human.

Ubico’s approach is rooted in technology with purpose, where AI enhances the work of the team rather than replacing it, enabling faster, more contextual and more empathetic support for travellers.

“Alejandro and the W2M team have a clear vision for the future of travel: one where automation is built into the DNA of service delivery,” said Riccardo Vittoria, CEO of Acai Travel.

“We’re proud to be working together to bring AI co-pilots to agents and fully agentic automation to travelers, all with complete control and transparency.”

W2M’s corporate division has already invested in creating a CRM-driven service layer that centralises demand from email, chat and phone into a unified view within Microsoft Dynamics.

The collaboration with Acai builds on this by enabling AI agents to understand context, route queries to the right human agents, or fully resolve them based on traveler profile, policy and fare complexity.

The two companies plan to expand the deployment across other W2M divisions throughout 2026.
