TC Co-Pilot developed in-house with input from 120 agents
Travel Counsellors rolls out AI assistant to global community
Travel Counsellors has launched an AI assistant designed to enhance agents’ productivity and deliver highly-personalised experiences for their customers.
The homeworking giant’s new TC Co-Pilot has been developed in-house over 18 months to integrate through Travel Counsellors’ proprietary platform, Phenix.
Following a trial involving more than 120 travel counsellors, it is now being rolled out to the global community of more than 2,200 business owners.
Throughout the trial, TC Co-Pilot evolved through feedback shaped by testers’ business needs and direct user feedback.
TC Co-Pilot offers specialised support using Phenix, powered by the company’s own knowledge base, while also assisting with key business tasks such as building itineraries, researching hotels, creating marketing materials and planning social media content.
Travel Counsellors says TC Co-Pilot adds ‘a personal touch to the customer experience’ with features like tailored packing lists, local restaurant recommendations and personalised welcome letters, freeing up time for travel counsellors to focus on building client relationships.
Jon Bauer, chief technology officer at Travel Counsellors, said: “We’re delighted to roll out TC Co-Pilot to our global community today.
“The launch of TC Co-Pilot represents a major step forward in how we use AI to support our Travel Counsellors. Rather than replacing human expertise, it enhances it, giving our community the tools to work smarter and deliver even more meaningful, personalised service.
“This technology is designed to free up time, spark creativity and strengthen the relationships that sit at the heart of every exceptional travel experience. It’s a reflection of our commitment to innovation that is developed by our community, for our community.”
Future updates are expected to follow, including the ability to include expanded itinerary options, enhanced performance insights and creative tools to support the production of marketing content, including reels.
TC Co-Pilot is part of Travel Counsellors’ wider investment in technology.
