Trainline becomes Cytric’s preferred partner for Rail Delivery Group (UK) Corporate travel solution
Enhanced UK rail content for Amadeus Cytric with new Trainline partnership
Amadeus has revealed that Cytric, its corporate booking tool, has further enhanced its rail offering to corporate travelers with the signing of a new partnership with Trainline.
Business travelers will gain improved access to content from rail operators across the UK following the integration of the Trainline global API into the travel management solution.
The latest integration offers the mobile tickets feature (eTickets), and future Cytric releases will offer refunds and cancellations, as well as split ticketing functionality.
With the integration of this upgraded API, Cytric lays the groundwork for incorporating additional rail carriers into its platform, ensuring that corporate travelers have access to an extensive network of routes and destinations.
Trainline Partner Solutions provides travel management companies, businesses of all sizes and rail carriers with access to Platform One, Trainline’s one-stop rail distribution platform which provides access to over 270 rail and coach operators in 40 countries.
Andrew Cruttenden, general manager of Trainline Partner Solutions, said: “We are delighted to sign this partnership with Amadeus.
"As we integrate our offering with Cytric, corporate travelers will have enhanced access to our extensive network of routes and destinations across the UK – helping to make the sustainable travel option of rail a more attractive choice.”
Cytric continues to enhance both the breadth and depth of its rail content offering. Jorge Perez Alvarez, director partner development of Amadeus, added: “This partnership between Amadeus and Trainline will elevate rail travel experiences for users everywhere.
"The deal will see Cytric, our corporate travel booking solution, introduce the upgraded API from Trainline for services across the UK.
"This enhancement marks a significant step forward in our ambition to provide seamless and efficient access to a diverse range of rail carriers.”
