London City airport’s largest operator CityJet has introduced an application for both iPhone and Android devices.
The app is launched as the airline updates the final stages of its mobile site, bringing it to full functionality.
Users can click through and navigate the site at http://m.cityjet.com while those visiting www.cityjet.com from a mobile device will automatically be redirected.
The additions allow customers to view flight schedules, book flights and manage their bookings where previously they could only check-in and view their flight status.
Chief executive Christine Ourmières said: “The vast majority of our customers are smartphone users who want the convenience of accessing our services on the go.
“We’re always looking at ways in which we can improve our customer’s experience and any service that makes travelling with us more seamless and accessible for our customers is a positive development.”
