Opodo takes over from meta search engine TravelFusion, which ran the facility across the VisitBritain sites from 2005.
The decision to switch providers comes as VisitBritain ends a three-month programme to roll out the latest version of its website.
The first sites were launched in a number of markets in the second quarter of this year and the final launch took place last week.
VisitBritain said the TravelFusion partnership had come to an end as it wanted to source suppliers that could cover the international languages it required and handle the relationships with airlines..
VisitBritain.com is currently available in 26 different languages.
