Your presence is requested at the #metatravel Travolution Summit 2023

New Q1 date, theme focussed on the future of travel and tech, and keynote speakers revealed – Register to attend now

The Travolution European Summit 2023 has been brought forward to earlier in the year as the brand provides a platform that supports technology suppliers to meet with new clients.

The day-long digital travel and technology conference will return to the Brewery in London on February 28, the ideal time for travel brands to start talking to new tech partners.

A one-to-one meetings schedule will again be included in the programme after it was successfully introduced for the first time this year.

That will see suppliers and buyers agree to pre-confirmed 15-minute meetings with confirmed delegates during an extended lunchbreak. This year, we delivered 177 meetings equating to 44.25 hours of quality networking.

Conference sessions will see senior travel and non-travel industry leaders present, discuss and debate how technology and digital developments are set to shape the future of travel.

Already confirmed to give a keynote is Karlijn Vogel-Meijer, head of industry at Meta, who was previously director of social media at KLM, a pioneering airline in the digital space.

She will be joined by serial industry entrepreneur Ralf Usbeck, the founder of Traveltainment and Peakwork who is now heading up Chain4travel.

His keynote will focus on how the Web 3.0 revolution is upon us and, underpinned by Blockchain technology, is poised to change the way humans and technology interact.

The conference’s #metatravel theme reflects how the way consumers will interact with technology is changing and that travel firms must be prepared for that.

Lee Hayhurst, Executive Editor of Travolution, said: “We’ve identified a gap in the early part of the year for a travel technology event that is currently not being catered for.

“This is traditionally when buyers have budgets and suppliers are eager to begin the process of onboarding new clients so they have time to integrate and test systems before going live.

“We were delighted with the feedback about the one-to-one meetings at this year’s summit in May and expect they will be even more productive in the first quarter of the year.

“As well as providing a forum for delegates to do business, the Summit will provide its usual mix of inspiration and insight into the latest tech trends impacting travel.

“The 2023 #metatravel Summit will focus on what to expect as the world prepares for the next iteration of technology that has already revolutionised our lives over the past 20 years.

“Whether there’s an evolution or a revolution on the horizon, conform your presence at next year’s Summit and get prepared for a Travolution.”
