Tripadvisor names former Booking senior vice president as new chief finance officer

Michael Noonan arrives with over 30-years' experience of corporate finance having most recently worked for digital health company Noom

Travel reviews global giant Tripadvisor has named Michael Noonan as the firm’s new chief financial officer.

Noonan arrives at Tripadvisor with over 30 years of corporate finance experience, most recently as finance chief of digital health company Noom since October 2020.

Additionally, Noonan has worked as senior vice president of finance for Booking Holdings and has held several capital markets roles at RBC Capital Markets, NYSE Euronex, J.P. Morgan, and Bear Stearns & Co.

Noonan has led activities including financial planning, capital budgeting, and investor relations in his experience, and will oversee Tripadvisor’s global finance as the firm’s new CFO and senior vice president starting at the end of the month.

Ernst Teunissen, Tripadvisor’s retiring chief finance officer, will continue in post through the first quarter of 2023 to oversee finance and strategy while ensuring a smooth transition for Noonan.
