Travel Tech Show 2023: TripStax grows data transactions from 3M to 8.5M in a year

The TMC solution provider said they had to innovate and bring something different to the market

Last week at Travel Tech Show, TMC solution provider TripStax revealed they have increased data transactions by more than double in 12 months.

The company’s tech modules used to be part of TMC ATPI, before they created the standalone company.

Rather than pivot the company, they created a separate company where they ingest booking data, enrich data and tokenise data.

In the last year they’ve seen bookings grow from three million to 8.5 million. Scott Wylie, CTO of TripStax said: “We had to work hard to on the delivery, having true customers as opposed to having internal customers is very different, so we had to collaborate with customers and meet different expectations.

“We have to innovate and bring something very different to the market. During Covid, we were working very hard to stand up the tech but the landscape has changed.

“Expectations are a higher and it’s not just about taking something off the shelf, it is a consultative exercise.”
