Travel giant to focus on ‘digital acceleration’
Tui utilises smart-sizing tech to outfit staff
Tui employees will be able to use new software allowing them to input their measurements into an online system so they can quickly and easily request new uniform items.
The smart-sizing tech comes as part of a multimillion-pound deal with work clothing manufacturer, Alsico.
The first phase of the project begins this month, supplying 6,000 uniforms to Tui representatives in more than 150 holiday destinations worldwide. End-user experience and globally accessible round the clock support are key criteria of the project.
Tui staff will have immediate assistance whenever they make an order thanks to a chat box feature in the portal.
Dora Papp, supply and corporate travel manager at Tui, said: “Tui’s future strategy focusses on digital acceleration and working to support the creation of a digital culture. The chat box feature in the uniform portal has been a fantastic addition to the website, with over 1,000 chats taking place in the first couple of weeks and the digital ‘What’s My Size?’ guideline has also been received very positively amongst our colleagues too.”

Alsico intends to white label the software for existing and future customer.
