Tiqets has integrated with Apple Maps, allowing iOS users to book tickets to over 3,000 museums and attractions offered through the e-commerce service.

Users can locate attractions and book directly through an option found alongside Apple Maps’ navigation directions.

Laurens Leurink, chief executive officer of Tiqets, said: “Making culture more accessible is our core mission, so it’s exciting to be a part of this project.

“The new instant-booking feature on Apple Maps will allow customers to be more spontaneous when it comes to planning their next cultural experience.

“Improvements like this in user experience are game changers in the industry; we’re making it simpler and faster for users to get exactly what they want, when they want it.”

This integration is part of Apple’s App Clips feature that allows users to access services within one app.

Tiqets joins companies such as Booking.com to create a streamlined user experience on Apple Maps.
