Company rolls out flexible payment option to put its customers first
Days Out reveals it is first in sector to add Klarna
Attraction ticketing site Days Out has announced its added pay with Klarna, making them the first in the sector to do so in the UK.
The addition of the flexible payment option is said to help with “spreading the cost of school holiday experiences” like theme park trips as well as other Days Out customers including inbound tourism, young couples and friendship groups.
Catherine Warrilow, MD of Days Out, said: “Our proposition has been customer first since its inception and is primarily built around the speed and ease of use in our UX.
“At the centre of that is our book happy pledge - a big part of that is freedom to pay your way. Klarna is the perfect partner to deliver this.”
The team worked with Ayden, who they use for banking, to deliver Klarna as a function to its site users.
The site which lists a mix of household favourites, as well as lesser known immersive, trending and IP driven days out, plans to add further technology innovation around ticketing in terms of delivery, payments and loyalty, over the coming 12 months.
It anticipates having over 200 bookable experiences live by September 2023.
