Amadeus names new head of innovation and research

A software specialist with 20 years experience has been named as head of innovation and research at Amadeus.

A software specialist with 20 years experience has been named as head of innovation and research at Amadeus.

Murray Mazer, recently vice president of software engineering and distributed development at Endeca Technologies, is taking the role.

After Endeca’s acquisition by Oracle Corporation in 2011, Mazer served as founding site director for Oracle’s research and development centre in Shanghai.

Amadeus head of research and development Hervé Couturier said: “Innovation is at the very heart of everything Amadeus does: it’s in our DNA and is central to our whole raison d’étre.

“With this in mind I am very proud to be able to welcome Murray to Amadeus as our new head of innovation and research.
