Travolution awards winner Minicabit expands to 1,000 cab operators

Record marks a 20% increase on pre-pandemic figures

Britain’s largest and most visited cab comparison site minicabit has revealed it has expanded to 1,000 cab operators.

minicabit’s network now reaches a new record of 1,000 operators UK wide on its platform, which is a 20% increase on pre-pandemic times.

Following its two recent wins at the Travolution Awards for ‘Best on the Road’ and ‘Best Technology Team’, minicabit has now launched a new ‘Top Routes’ capability as part of this expansion for Cab and Chauffeur fleets.

It will enable them to see a live feed of the most popular routes customers are requesting cabs for in their area, alongside the best converting prices to benchmark against.

This news will allow its partners such as booking.com, Expedia, Heathrow Airport, Stansted Airport and Birmingham Airport, to offer even better rates for pre-booked airport transfers and point to point trips in over 550 towns and cities around the UK.

The firm also kicked off 2024 with its annual Fares that Care campaign where it donates £1 from every cab trip booked and taken this month to NHS Charities Together which helps NHS staff, patients and communities all over the UK facing hardship this winter.

Amer Hasan, CEO of minicabit, said “Having ended last year with some delightful wins for our team, we’re excited to enhance our tech platform with a new pricing capability that can lower prices for travellers, whilst improving yields for cab operators and margins for travel platforms.

"As living costs continue to impact, the travel sector is adept at leveraging smart tech solutions like ours to offer a compelling, cost-efficient travel experience.”
