Saudia extends relationship with aviation software provider Accelya

Accelya enables national carrier to optimise its distribution channels

Saudia, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, has announced it has extended its longstanding partnership with premier global aviation software provider, Accelya.

The multi-year agreement reaffirms Accelya’s commitment to providing Saudia with comprehensive market data and insights from a widened scope of 35 markets, showcasing the airline’s dedication to leveraging Accelya as a primary source of market intelligence.

Saudia has been utilising Accelya's cutting-edge software suite to empower its sales teams at its stations locally, regionally, and worldwide with data for monitoring and optimising performance via an intuitive online platform.

With this expanded partnership, Saudia will integrate this valuable data with its existing data infrastructure, complemented by additional sources, to provide unparalleled competitive insights across all commercial departments.

Ultimately, Accelya Industry Insights will enable Saudia to optimise its distribution channels, thereby contributing to revenue and margin growth.

“At Saudia, we are continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our decision-making capabilities, and Accelya's data-driven intelligence has been instrumental in this journey,” said Saudia’s GM of Sales and Distribution Strategies, Dr Saleh Bukhari. “Expanding our long-standing partnership was a natural choice for Saudia."

Andrew Wilcock, Chief Revenue Officer at Accelya, added: “Having worked with Saudia for over a decade, we are delighted to extend our relationship, providing them with deeper intelligence insights across a broad range of markets.

“Our Accelya Industry Insights solution uses leading-edge technologies to surface real-time data and actionable intelligence, enabling informed decision-making for airlines to stay ahead of the competition. We look forward to supporting Saudia’s growth strategy over the coming years.”
