IBS Software appoints Christophe Roux to lead aviation passenger business

Airline retail veteran will lead the comapny's APS business globally

AI-driven travel-technology solutions provider, IBS Software, has appointed Christophe Roux as senior vice president and head of passenger solutions. 

Roux joins IBS Software at a pivotal moment, following the company’s recently announced Strategic Collaboration Agreement with AWS to develop an AI-first retailing platform for airlines - he will play a "central role in shaping the evolution" of the Passenger Solutions portfolio and scaling its impact worldwide.

He began his career at Amadeus in Europe, before moving to Asia Pacific to support the company’s expansion. 

He later joined the Emirates Group, serving in senior leadership roles in the IT and Commercial organisations, where he led critical modernization initiatives and strategic technology investments. 

Most recently, he led the airline business in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa for Amadeus where he oversaw significant growth.  

In this role, Roux will lead the company’s Aviation Passenger Solutions (APS) business globally, overseeing strategy, growth, and delivery across passenger service and airline retail solutions. 

Roux will be based out of Dubai, reporting to the chief executive officer, Somit Goyal and will serve as a member of the IBS Software Senior Leadership Team.
