Latest step in ecosystem expansion for firm
Journey integrates with TablePath to bring dining into booking flow
The collaboration between the duo is said to be the latest step in Journey’s integration ecosystem expansion, connecting dining more closely with rooms, spa and on-property experiences within the guest booking flow.
By "bringing dining closer to the core booking process", Journey says it is helping hotels move "beyond selling rooms in isolation".
Simon Bullingham, CEO and founder of Journey said: “For too long, hotels have been exceptional at selling rooms and surprisingly informal about selling everything else.
Dining is one of the most valuable and emotional parts of a stay, yet it often sits outside the commercial journey. This collaboration is another step toward helping hotels retail the entire experience and properly market, manage and book the revenue that already exists inside the property.”
Martin Poucher, managing director of TablePath said: “TablePath is trusted by hundreds of restaurants and hotels and supports over a million bookings each month, to meet the evolving expectations of today’s guests.
"Working with Journey enables us to bring that capability into a more unified booking flow, creating a simpler, more connected experience for both guests and operators.”
