AI chatbot to offer ‘intuitive results’ from OTA

Chat GP was added an Expedia app into its conversation, to help users plan travel trips on the AI tool.

The generative AI chatbot will offer ‘fast, visual, and intuitive results’, according to the OTA.

To access the Expedia app in ChatGPT, users must start a travel-related question with the word ‘Expedia’

It promises to reply with hotels with the exact room type and price a user wants, flight options for either one-way or a round-trip, interactive maps to help explore potential destinations and dynamic prices and availability from Expedia’s inventory.

At first, the service will be available to all logged-in users on its Free, Go, Plus and Pro plans, except those in the EU.
