Travelier names Mario Gavira as Chief Marketing Officer

Former Kiwi.com executive to drive global growth

Travelier, a global leader in the travel-tech industry, today announced the appointment of Mario Gavira as its new chief marketing officer.

The group, which has seven travel-tech brands worldwide, operates platforms for booking intercity transportation services via buses, trains, and ferries in 124 countries.

Gavira joins with over 20 years of senior leadership experience in the travel and travel-tech sectors, most recently serving as vice president of global growth and brand at Kiwi.com, where he led the company’s global branding, performance marketing, and customer engagement strategy. 

Prior to Kiwi.com, he held senior roles at eDreams ODIGEO, Liligo.com, and Opodo.

He will be the responsible for the company’s global marketing strategy with a focus on scaling growth and "advancing customer-centric innovation".

The firm said his goal will be to "standardise" excellence within the ground and sea transportation sector.
