Minicabit celebrates NHS 75th birthday with another 'Fares that Care' campaign

The UK taxi comparison site will donate £1 for every booking made for journeys completed during the NHS 75th birthday week

Taxi price comparison site minicabit has launched a campaign with NHS Charities Together to mark the 75^th birthday of the NHS.

The ‘Fares that Care’ campaign will support the NHS workforce with £1 donated from every booking made on the website, app and partner channels for a week from 3-9 July.

The campaign builds on minicabit’s support for the NHS in recent times, including during the pandemic when it raised over £250,000 to fund free taxi trips for NHS staff to reach the frontline, when public transport was restricted.

Last winter, minicabit launched its first ‘Fares that Care’ campaign to donate to NHS Charities Together for NHS staff and communities facing hardship.

To celebrate 75 years of NHS, minicabit has joined forces with the NHS Charities Together, who is paying tribute to staff.

Amer Hasan, chief executive of minicabit, said: “We’re excited to support NHS Charities Together on this momentous occasion for the NHS. We know that NHS staff and their communities still face challenges and are in need of support.”

“As customers book their cabs for their airport transfers, staycations and summer festivals, we’re happy to donate from our revenues to this worthy cause.”

The minicabit team hopes that many booking their cab trips this summer in over 550 towns & cities around the UK will take advantage of its ’Fares that Care’ offer which will help celebrate the NHS and the vital work they do for as all.
