Fast-growing OTA loveholidays has been ranked as one of the UK’s best places to work for the first time.
The company was included in the ‘medium organisation’ category of the Sunday Times list, which aims to celebrate and showcase excellence in the workplace.
This year’s list was determined solely by an employee survey, with a focus on engagement, wellbeing and overall job satisfaction.
According to the poll, the majority (88%) of loveholidays’ employees feel empowered to work for the company, while 85% are proud to work for it.
The OTA also scored well for job satisfaction (87%) and rewards and recognition (86%).
Others in the travel sector featured on the list include Travel Counsellors and easyJet holidays.
Loveholidays recently announced plans to increase its headcount by 45% this financial year.
This will create 110 new jobs to enable the business to expand into new markets, diversify its product offering and bolster its customer service team.
The OTA increased its Atol licence by a third in April to cover almost 2.5 million passengers from the UK.
It also operates in Ireland and recently announced expansion into Germany as weloveholidays.
Chief executive Donat Retif said: “To make this prestigious list for the first time this year is a testament to all of the loveholidays team who make our company such a great place to work every day.
“We have really exciting growth plans which involve almost doubling the size of our team this year, and I’m confident this recognition will help us to attract more talented individuals to join us.
“Our employees are the driving force behind our growth and we’re committed to offering the best workplace for them to thrive, with wellbeing initiatives and development opportunities continuing to be our focus as we grow.”
