Kolet and Philippine Airlines partner to launch myPAL eSIM

Passengers will receive two days of mobile data

The French start-up Kolet is teaming up with Philippine Airlines to launch the myPAL eSIM solution. On landing, passengers receive two days of mobile data (1GB) to smooth the first moments of their stay.

Kolet continues its work of eSIM evangelisation. This new partnership with Philippine Airlines (PAL) takes the form of an offer designed to connect passengers immediately on arrival. The package includes two days of mobile data, with 1GB to cover essential needs during the first hours on the ground.

Kolet’s embedded SIM (eSIM) is added to a compatible smartphone before departure and activates upon arrival. The eSIM leverages multiple local partner networks and automatically selects the best option according to location and service conditions, to ensure a fast and reliable connection. For multi-country itineraries, a single eSIM can cover several destinations, simplifying continuity of service throughout the trip.

One of the most critical moments of the journey

The promise of myPAL eSIM is to offer travellers the smoothest possible experience at that critical airport moment, as soon as they leave the aircraft, when they need to find transport, retrieve an accommodation booking or reach a contact.

Eduardo Ronzano, CEO of Kolet, said: “A better journey is made of small things done right. Connectivity is one of them. Travelers don’t remember the roaming plan they bought, they remember the moment they land and everything works just fine. With Philippine Airlines, we’re proud to launch myPAL eSIM to remove friction at one of the most critical moments of the trip: arrival.”

This partnership chiefly confirms Kolet’s strategy of multiplying agreements with airlines to integrate connectivity into the passenger journey. Philippine Airlines is committing to highlight the service at every stage, from booking to boarding, to facilitate the adoption of a technology still little known to the general public. While Kolet’s activity in 2025 was evenly split between B2C and B2B, co‑founder and CMO Anne‑Carole Cöen does not rule out that a portion of B2C acquisition actually stems from awareness raised via B2B2C partnerships.

The company, which recently obtained B Corp certification awarded by the NGO B Lab for its social and environmental commitments, has already concluded partnerships with Air France‑KLM, Vietnam Airlines, Corendon Airlines and Singapore Airlines, giving it access to millions of passengers.
