HolidayCheck partners with The Trip Boutique to offer personalised trips to subscribers

The leading German OTA teams up with the travel-as-a-service solution to offer a curated, personalised trip planning service to members of its Premium programme

Leading German OTA HolidayCheck has started offering personalised travel itineraries to members of its Premium subscription service thanks to a tie-up with The Trip Boutique.

The ‘travel-as-a-service’ solution uses Artificial Intelligence to provide a one-to-one travel advisory service for clients tapping into local knowledge to help travellers plan their trips.

Premium subscribers can now request free personalised travel itineraries, that will include special deals, offers and discounts, created by Zurich-based The Trip Boutique.

The firm said its “hyper-personalised travel itineraries” include curated recommendations of HolidayCheck hotels, best-match dining options, sights, shops, bars, and activities.

Fernanda Barrence Mutz, chief executive and co-founder of The Trip Boutique, said: “At The Trip Boutique, our mission is to give travel brands the superpowers to offer hyper-personalized travel advisory to their clients, so that travellers feel inspired and find what they love at their destination.

“We’re excited to work with HolidayCheck Premium to reimagine the way its members plan and book their trips while boosting the business intelligence.”

The Trip Boutique combines artificial intelligence with local expert knowledge to recommend what to do and see in a destination and suggest relevant daily itineraries.

HolidayCheck said it will help Premium “deliver more personalised offers, inspire its members and thus create a fun and stress-free travel planning experience”.

Christoph Ludmann, chief executive said: “The AI-based technology developed by The Trip Boutique adds real value for travellers, as it helps them make the best of their valuable time at the destination.

“We are convinced that this cooperation will strengthen our capabilities with respect to personalisation and inspiration, enriching the travel experience for our customers.”

Steffen Ketterer, business lead of HolidayCheck Premium, added: “We are delighted that we can offer the benefit of personalised travel advice to HolidayCheck Premium members so that they can discover their destination in a convenient and innovative way.

“This offering is a step forward to transform the experience of Premium members towards more personalised travel services.
