Through the integration, users can link their KeyNest and Wishbox accounts and automatically generate collection codes for their keys by assigning a key to a specific rental on Wishbox.
Guests will receive key collection details through Wishbox and email.
Automated self check-in is vital for Airbnb for Work, the collection of properties aimed at corporate travellers, because it is mandatory for properties to be a part of many corporate travel programmes.
Wishbox and KeyNest hope the integration will benefit guests with a smoother check-in process and hosts with the fully automated process.
Wishbox says after the check-in, the service can be used to offer guests a house manual explaining house rules, food and activity recommendations, and provide services including luggage storage and transport.
Marc Figueras, co-founder of KeyNest, said: “Automating routine tasks is extremely important to our customers as it enables them to stay profitable in this very competitive environment.”
“We’re delighted to partner with Wishbox to automate the self check-in all the way, delivering the best possible experience for the guest.”
The integration is the first for both companies that is not with a property management software.
David Mezuman, chief executive at Wishbox, added: “We’re very excited to have integrated with our first check-in solution.”
“Our aim is to allow hosts to provide guests with a great experience from the start of their stay right up until the end, and integrating with KeyNest will help this to happen by ensuring the check-in process is as smooth as possible.”
