Wishbox and KeyNest team up to provide automated self check-in for short term rentals

Guest experience start-up Wishbox and property entry management specialist KeyNest have announced a global integration to automate check-ins for short-term rental property managers.

KeyNest integrates with Airbnb


WishboxThrough the integration, users can link their KeyNest and Wishbox accounts and automatically generate collection codes for their keys by assigning a key to a specific rental on Wishbox.

Guests will receive key collection details through Wishbox and email.

Automated self check-in is vital for Airbnb for Work, the collection of properties aimed at corporate travellers, because it is mandatory for properties to be a part of many corporate travel programmes.

Wishbox and KeyNest hope the integration will benefit guests with a smoother check-in process and hosts with the fully automated process.

Wishbox says after the check-in, the service can be used to offer guests a house manual explaining house rules, food and activity recommendations, and provide services including luggage storage and transport.

The integration is the first for both companies that is not with a property management software.
