Travelport reveals Wilson’s successor at the helm

The leading GDS in the UK market, Travelport, is set to get a new boss after the departure of president and chief executive Gordon Wilson was announced.

Wilson will be replaced by another GDS executive, former Sabre vice chairman Gregg Webb who will take up the post on August 1.

Wilson said: “I celebrated 28 years with the company in May and have been president and CEO since 2011. It is time for me to hand over to someone else to run this business.”
