Datalex has announced that Alison Bell has been appointed as its vice president for strategic sales.
Bell joins the digital commerce and retail solutions provider for the travel industry having previously held senior management roles in technology and business consulting for the airline, hospitality and travel agency sectors.
She moves from Mobile Travel Technologies, where she advised on mobile strategies for travel retailers.
Before this, Bell has held vice president and managing director roles at Travelport and at hospitality technology provider Travelclick.
In her new role, Bell will look at digital business strategy.
She said: “The industry requires robust digital solutions which can drive increased agility, market responsiveness and outstanding customer experiences; I believe Datalex has delivered proven results in this regard and am excited to demonstrate that value to new customers and partners.”
