Travel itinerary service Yourtour plans to open up its site to public beta next month.

The site helps travellers put together a holiday itinerary by proposing a range of available hotels and sightseeing options relevant to their trip.

Yourtour costs each element of the journey and informs the user how long it will take between destinations as well as a suggested time required for tours and sightseeing.

Hotels can also be booked via the site and the company has deals with booking.com for accommodation as well as Lonely Planet for content.

Users can refine their itinerary according to their interests, decrease or increase their budget or decide how much time they want to be driving for.

The site will initially launch offering self-drive itineraries in France with other countries including Spain, Italy and Portugal to come later as well as the US.

Both English and French language versions will be available.

The service also features a profile section to build up a history of trips and preferences.

Belgium-based Decizium, which operates the Yourtour site, has also developed a b2b version of the technology to licence to other companies looking to offer an itinerary building service on their websites.

Future developments include widening out the itineraries to offer other forms of transport such as trains and metros.
