Former British Airways head of IT delivery Mike Croucher is joining Travelport as chief architect.
He will have overall responsibility for the delivery of the travel technology firm’s global IT architecture function, ensuring it is positioned to support the company’s strategic business goals.
Croucher will lead a team which will also explore, assess and where relevant embrace emerging and new technology which will accelerate the strategic goals of the Travelport business, the company said.
He spent some of his early career as an architect of the Galileo GDS and went onto become director of applications development at the predecessor company of Travelport.
