London-based company says it has seen an uplift in demand across the US
Teletext Holidays bids to increase long-haul share with Visit Florida tie-up
Online travel agency Teletext Holidays and Visit Florida have teamed up to increase visitor numbers travelling to the state as the brand looks to increase its share of the long-haul UK market.
The London-based company says it has seen an uplift in demand across the US and year-on-year growth of 10% for passengers travelling to Florida, in particular the popular destinations like Miami and Orlando.
The partnership with Florida’s marketing body will see Teletext Holidays and Visit Florida co-fund marketing activities throughout 2020, including national newspaper advertising, radio promotion on LGBT radio station Gaydio and additional online activities.
Wayne Perks, managing director of Teletext Holidays, said: “Florida is a key destination for Teletext Holidays for which we have seen encouraging growth; we have very ambitious plans to develop this promising close relationship with Visit Florida.”
“This new affiliation will contribute to our plans to double our sales growth as we actively continue to expand the destination mix that we are well-known for.”
