An itinerary app to help business travellers keep up to date with their travel plans while on the move has been developed by Gray Dawes Travel.
Managed by the travel management company, the app enables corporate clients to view their travel itinerary from their mobile phone in real time.
Travel data, including all airport and flight information, is automatically pushed directly to the app.
This eliminates the need for the travel manager/travel booker to constantly monitor and transmit itinerary updates.
The app, available for Android and iPhones, provides up to date flight information and travel news. Any changes to travel arrangements or cancellations are available to view via the app.
It can also be used to plan the rest of the journey, including parking, currency and weather.
Chief executive Suzanne Cockburn said: “We have recognised that the immediacy of information is very important to our clients and this app will help keep our corporate travellers informed of any changes to their travel plans and enable them to independently plan ahead for their journey while they are on the move.”
