Dubai Parks and Resorts introduces table booking app and integrated payments
Omnico software has been installed across Dubai Parks and Resorts’ theme parks to create a “seemless” experience for park guests spending on retail, dining and entertainment sites at the parks.
The integrated and unified point-of-sale (POS) system will also be linked to a pre-booking and table management system for which a new app will be introduced.
Omnico says it ensures all transactions and reservations across the separate parks are connected and collated centrally, “ensuring a seamless experience for both Dubai Parks and Resorts, and their visitors”.
All of its software products have been used; omniEngage, which enables visitors to make package meal, retail or ticket purchases, RFID wrist-bands to create a completely cashless experience; and omniBasket, for both fixed and mobile retail and table ordering points.
Dubai Parks and Resorts, which opened in December, includes three theme parks; LEGOLAND® Dubai, Bollywood Parks™ Dubai and MOTIONGATE™ Dubai; plus LEGOLAND® Water Park; as well as Riverland™ Dubai, a dinning and retail destrict, and Lapita™ Hotel, a Polynesian themed family resort part of Marriot Autograph Collection©.
Mel Taylor, chief executive of Omnico Group said: “With today’s visitors demanding an increasingly seamless digital experience; from purchasing their tickets, to pre-booking a restaurant table, we are delivering pioneering technology to complement the vision of Dubai Parks and Resorts.”
