WeRoad Closes 2025 with €130M in Revenue: International Expansion, Marketplace at Scale, and New Partnership Programme and Travel Product Launches

European-founded tour operator, WeRoad, has announced it closed the 2025 financial year with a new record of €130 million (£112.6m) in revenue.

In 2025, WeRoad.com delivered a 62.4% year-on-year revenue increase compared to 2024. Passenger volumes and bookings grew by 54% and 51% respectively, reflecting a surge of international travellers via its website, weroad.com.

Said to be key to its success was a 30% year-on-year increase thanks to sustained performance in core European markets and rising demand for international trips.

By the end of 2025, 300,000 people had taken a WeRoad trip, with nearly 110,000 of them travelling with WeRoad in 2025 alone.

The firm has said its travellers chose both nearby European and far-flung intercontinental destinations, with the top 10 WeRoad destinations by passenger volume in 2025including Italy, Morocco, Iceland, Japan, Albania, Egypt, the US, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Mexico.

At the heart of all its operations, are the 4,000 Travel Coordinators that lead the trips for the travellers.

“2025 was the year we proved that travel can be more than an experience, it can be a way to build real friendships,” said Andrea D’Amico, CEO of WeRoad.

“As loneliness rises, people are actively looking for spaces to connect offline. That insight shaped both our international expansion and the launch of WeMeet, which extends the WeRoad experience beyond trips.

"The strong response from English-speaking travellers across Europe, and the early traction in the US, show that this need for connection is truly global.”

2025 proved to be a big year for the relatively young company, as it introduced a platform that allows its Travel Coordinators to create their own interaries, had several trade partnerships including Travel Counsellors and Tourhub, diversified its trip product set with weekend trips and launched WeMeet to support its travellers while they're in the cities they live too, not just when they're travelling.
