Etihad Holidays is a new partner
Peakwork bag big clients for its new tour operator platform
Peakwork has announced two major wins in the rollout of its new tour operator platform nexTOs with Capital Holidays and Etihad Holidays becoming the first tour operator brands to implement the solution exclusively and in full in Germany and the UK.
This move sees the companies have everything covered by the solution from inventory management and product management to distribution, booking and fulfillment, without relying on external third-party applications.
Based in Munich, Munich-based Capital Holidays specialises in premium package holidays to Egypt, Türkiye, and other destinations while Etihad Holidays, offers tailor-made travel packages to all seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates, primarily targeting guests from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the UK.
The project was wrapped quite quickly reportedly a remarkably short timeframe with the inventory management powered by Peakwork’s new solution based on Cyberlogic technology, while Sabre Vacations is connected for stationary retail distribution in the DACH market.
The web frontends for the end-customer portals were successfully conceived, developed, and implemented by CFM Media based on nexTOs within just three months.
An OTA solution for travel agencies is already in development at CFM, too.
“The implementation of nexTOs across both brands marks a strategic milestone for us,” said Lamia Azimi, managing director of Capital Holidays (Europe).
“With Peakwork’s platform, we manage all processes seamlessly within one centralised system. This significantly reduces our time-to-market, increases transparency, and maximizes operational efficiency in our day-to-day business.”
“Working with the teams at Capital Holidays and Etihad Holidays in Munich, London, and Abu Dhabi has been intensive, highly collaborative, and characterised by constructive exchange throughout,” said Manuel Saballus, CEO of Peakwork.
“We are proud of what we have achieved together in such a short time. Our investments in high-performance products and a stable system architecture are clearly paying off – for the entire Peakwork network.”
Further market rollouts, including in the United Arab Emirates, are already in plans, according to the firm.
