Icelolly.com appoints new marketing chief and board member
Holiday price comparison website icelolly.com has announced two senior management appointments
Simon Lloyd has been appointed chief marketing officer following the departure of Ross Matthews to Hoseasons and James Villa Holidays parent Awaze. He will begin in his new role on January 6.
Lloyd has previously held a number of executive roles with leading British brands including AXA, Superdry, BBC and Virgin Atlantic where he was the chief marketing officer.
Reporting to icelolly.com chief executive Richard Singer, he will be responsible for shaping the company’s strategic approach to marketing working with the commercial and product teams.
Singer said: “I am delighted to welcome Simon to the icelolly.com team as our chief marketing officer.
“He has an excellent track record for building brand equity within and without travel, with senior expertise in brand, CRM, insights, content, social, digital marketing and media engagement.

In addition icelolly.com’s has bolstered its board with the appointment of Elliot Muscant as a non-executive advisor.
The co-founder and managing partner of marketing agency, Open Partners, former chief executive of Dentsu Aegis and managing director of MediaVest Manchester is a serial entrepreneur with comprehensive experience in the marketing sector.
