Azerbaijan Airlines accelerates digital transformation with Amadeus

Deal includes revenue management, shopping, and distribution solutions

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has signed travel tech giant, Amadeus, to deploy a range of innovative revenue management, shopping, and distribution solutions. 

The deal, which sees four solutions including Amadeus Network Rvenue, Flex Pricer Premium, MetaConnect and Instant Search utilised, will accelerate its digital transformation.

Jamil Manizade, chief commercial officer of Azerbaijan Airlines, said: “Azerbaijan Airlines is undergoing a significant modernisation, and our agreement with Amadeus will be a key enabler of this transformation. 

"By advancing our digital capabilities, we are enhancing the traveler experience across the region and setting a benchmark for the industry.”

Lenka Klimova, senior vice president, EMEA Airlines at Amadeus, added: “Our agreement will see Azerbaijan Airlines strengthen its ability to attract high intent demand and enhance the customer shopping experience through richer offers and smarter pricing. 

“Through this integrated approach, the airline can offer a wider range of fares and travel options to drive upsell opportunities and distribute dynamic and consistent content across channels. 

"It will also bring qualified traffic back to its direct channels, and deliver fast, flexible, and inspiring search capabilities that improve engagement and conversion.”
