OTA Insight acquires hotel revenue optimisation platform RevGEN

Distribution analytics specialist makes second acquisition in two months

Distribution data specialist for hotels OTA Insight has made a second acquisition in two months, snapping up Dallas-based revenue optimisation platform RevGEN.

The deal follows the capture of provider of short-term renal data Transparent in March and comes after a $80 million funding round secured in November 2021.

OTA Insight said the latest deal “marks a significant step forward in its efforts to help hoteliers drive better commercial decisions”.

Kriya RevGEN’s platform, Spider Analytics, provides analysis of hotel performance from multiple data sources to boost productivity and revenue opportunities. 

It was founded in 2013 and now provides revenue solutions to over 1,000 hotels across the US and Canada and supports nearly all global brands, systems, and management companies.
