TPConnects unifies GDS, NDC and low-cost in Iris

Four GDS and 60+ airlines, one workflow

TPConnects Technologies has expanded Iris, its air content aggregation platform for travel sellers. The service now provides access to low-cost carriers alongside NDC-enabled airlines, while integrating all four GDS — Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport and Abacus. Recent additions include LCC operators such as easyJet, Volotea, Transavia and Wizz Air via partner Kyte, as well as Cathay Pacific, Turkish Airlines, Riyadh Air and ITA Airways.

Iris aims to simplify the reality of hybrid distribution by offering a unified workflow. NDC, LCC and GDS content is handled consistently. The platform standardises servicing operations — including exchanges and refunds, disruption management and ancillary services — and supports PNR import to centralise follow-up. A pricing module enables precise control, while agencies can highlight preferred carriers and suppress options deemed less useful. Deployment is available via a web portal — with white-label options, agency hierarchy management and unlimited users — or through an API for integration into existing tools.

“Travel sellers don’t need more systems they need a unified workflow that keeps pace with modern airline retailing,” said Stephanos Kykkotis, Director of Product, Travel Seller Solutions, TPConnects Technologies. “With Iris, agencies can access NDC, LCC, and GDS content in one place, operate faster with consistent servicing, and apply commercial strategy with greater control. This milestone strengthens our mission to help travel sellers succeed in a rapidly evolving distribution landscape.”

Iris is pitched as a way to improve productivity and restore commercial control. The move comes amid the acceleration of modern airline retailing, as carriers enrich their offers and scale NDC. With aggregators, GDS and direct connections co-existing, sellers operate in a fragmented ecosystem. By providing a single point of entry, TPConnects targets a broad range of players — including TMCs and OTAs — looking to modernise content access while preserving operational continuity. The expanded content is available now for Iris customers, according to TPConnects.
