Visitor numbers to Travel Technology Europe rose to record levels last week with the attendance up by 3% to 6,576.

The number of VIP buyers doubled as thousands of marketing, hospitality and technology professionals attended the 15th annual event in London.

The show featured 138 exhibitors across its marketing, technology and hotel zones.

These included Sabre, Atcore and Tigerbay, AirDNA, Vibe Software, Comtec, Dolphin Dynamics, Freshdesk, Inspiretec, Codegen, Paxport, RMS The Hospitality Cloud, Sitecore, OTA Insight, Guestline, ICE and Fairmas.

More than 100 speakers delivered 60 conference sessions, including keynotes from the likes of Facebook, Inspiretec and the Lime Wood Group.

Event director David Chapple said: “Travel technology is evolving at lightning speed and the demand to keep ahead of the curve is immense, just one of the many reasons this year’s show was our biggest year yet.

“With an incredibly diverse range of exhibitors across all aspects of travel and hotel technology, buyers had the chance to discover the latest technologies all under one roof as well as attend fascinating and inspiring sessions with some of the industry’s brightest minds.

“While exhibitors have been able to connect with new prospects, current clients and industry influencers. As the industry continues to grow we look forward to seeing everyone back for more of the same in 2019.”

Travel Technology Europe 2019 will take place on February 20-21.
