OTA eDreams and B2B booking platform Travelfusion have renewed their seven year partnership for distribution of lowcost flights, and have also added rail to the product mix.

The Spain-based online agency has added optional services for the 200 airlines it offers including seat reservations, as part of a project to offer completely customisable seat reservations.

The European rail transport providers now available to eDreams though the tie-up include Eurostar, idtgv, Renfe, Thetrainline, Bene and Deutsche Bahn.

Moshe Rafiah, chief executive of Travelfusion, said: “We’re delighted to be strengthening our relationship with the leading European OTA group.

“eDreams’ capacity to sell such a high diversity of low-cost airline services all over the world using our innovative payment solutions means that users are assured of exceptional value in Europe and the rest of the world.

“We are also very excited about the plans to incorporate high-speed train services to the flight searches, which will give users the chance to compare and purchase the trips that best match their budget and schedule”.

Javier Bellido, chief supplier relations officer and general manager of eDreams Spain, added:

“The partnership with Travelfusion is evidence of our commitment to our users, who are increasingly looking more closely at the price of the tourist products and services they buy, whilst not losing sight of the quality service eDreams has been offering for 15 years.”

eDreams said it will continue to explore new lines of business to offer to its more than 15 million customers.
