Castles Technology partners with Loomis Pay to power European expansion

Android payment firm and Point-of-Sales tech specialist hope to transform European landscape

Android payment acceptance device specialist, Castles Technology, has been selected by Loomis Pay, the POS and digital payment division of Loomis, to support its European expansion. 

The launch will initially cover the Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Spanish markets with a roll out of devices at scale.

To suss out the need for secure POS and payment solutions tailored to merchant preferences, the firm carried out an extensive market review before Loomis Pay chose Castles Technology for its leadership in Android-based payment solutions.

Loomis Pay will deploy its POS and payment services on the portable S1F4 Pro, the PINPAD S1P2 and the unattended S1U2M4, as well its CasHUB TMS and Marketplace.

The duo have also been working with Seitatech, a specialised Finnish payment company, to develop the complete software suite for the terminals and the connection to Loomis POS and payment gateway. 

It took just a few months to roll out and a successful pilot in Norway earlier this year saw Castles devices already deployed across 17 locations, with further sites being added.
