Short Stay Summit announces new venue and location for 2023 event

The annual conference is a collaboration between the European Holiday Home Association, the UK Short Term Accommodation Association and the Vacation Rental Management Association

The Short Stay Summit 2023 will be held in a new venue in London on April 27, the industry association for the fast-growing travel sector has announced.

The event will take place at Old Billingsgate, organised once again by the European Holiday Home Association (EHHA), the UK Short Term Accommodation Association (STAA) and the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA).

The theme will be Maximizing opportunities in times of transition and will provide an opportunity for delegates and exhibitors to discuss how to grow the industry in a sustainable way.

Merilee Karr, chair of the STAA and chief executive of UnderTheDoormat, said: “The Short Stay Summit 2022 was a huge success.

“It was wonderful to welcome all of our industry friends from across Europe and the US as well as our Tourism Minister who headlined the conference.

“The event reminded everyone that our industry is vibrant and full of dynamic people and companies who want to grow businesses that will provide customers and guests with top quality travel and accommodation experiences.

“It was so rewarding to be a part of something that you could visibly see benefiting all who attended. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in April to an even larger event at which we will continue to shape the future for our industry.”

Viktorija Molnar, interim secretary general of EHHA, said: “EHHA is thrilled to again co-organise the Short Stay Summit with the STAA and VRMA.

2The Short Stay Summit has proven its worth as an unmissable opportunity for the short-term rental industry to come together across Europe.

“It gives delegates from across our European membership a fantastic opportunity to immerse themselves in industry discussions, learn about innovations and technology advances, share their experiences and grow their businesses in a sustainable way. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again in London next April.”

Kimberly Miles, executive director of the VRMA, added, “We are delighted to partner with the STAA and EHHA once again for this prestigious event.

“The Short Stay Summit delivers an exceptionally meaningful experience for delegates to come together, exchange ideas and collaborate to shape the future of the vacation and holiday rental industry.

“We are excited to be returning to London in April with many more of our US members to advance the success of our industry and support expansion for businesses both ways across the Atlantic.”
