Make caching your ally! Sabre has unveiled a new capability within its Sabre Mosaic platform that promises to accelerate and improve the reliability of flight searches. The solution unifies traditional sources (EDIFACT, NDC and low-cost carriers) and private agency content, leveraging a predictive cache to present offers that can actually be booked. According to Sabre, initial deployments have shown a decrease of up to 28% in the look-to-book ratio, 95% alignment with live data and responses delivered in under 500 milliseconds for traditional flight content.
This new component relies on APIs designed to work with agentic AI and Sabre IQ, which dynamically arbitrates between live queries and the return of a validated result from the cache. Continuous offer validation minimises discrepancies between the displayed price and the final price. Standardising the results structure simplifies sorting, ranking and personalisation for developers. It maintains stable performance when supplier response times fluctuate and can adapt its behaviour to ensure consistent performance, even during peak periods, operational irregularities or massive promotions (e.g. serving an offer from the cache or reducing search depth).

This innovation enables Sabre to meet the high expectations of airlines regarding 'look-to-book' speeds, as well as those of sales agents who can benefit from a unified experience that aggregates EDIFACT, NDC, low-cost and private content within a single technical framework.
