Hospitality technology PR specialist Abode Worldwide makes three key hires

Appointments designed to support its expansion plans

Specialist public relations agency for hospitality Abode Worldwide has named three new key hires last month as it seeks to execute its ambitious growth plan.

Stewart Paterson has joined as an account director overseeing client services, while Madeleine Parkin has been appointed as account manager and Jenny Noad has taken on the role of Agency Coordinator.

All three have experience in the PR, technology, property and hospitality industries.

Paterson is a former national newspaper journalist and joins from Coverdale Barclay.

He has a "strong" public relations track record working across the property and real estate sectors, including senior living, student accommodation, multifamily and single-family rental.

Parkin joins Abode from short-term rental data company AirDNA, where she managed media relations with press all over the world, including throughout AirDNA’s 2022 acquisition by private equity firm Alpine Investors.

Parkin speaks five languages and is based in Barcelona, onboard to help Abode expand its operations in Europe.

Noad has more than 20 years experience in the client services team at B2B technology PR agency Publitek, and brings a wealth of experience in supporting agency teams and helping them grow.

Paterson said: “The hospitality and living sectors are set for rapid growth in the coming years, meaning the need for strategically delivered PR and comms excellence will be critical.

"The team that Abode has pulled together means the agency is primed for greatness and it’s also great to be back in the saddle with my old boss, managing director Neil Millard.

"His Fleet Street prowess – combined with agency CEO Jessica Gillingham’s deep knowledge of and connections to the hospitality and living sectors – gives Abode Worldwide a razor-sharp edge.”

Jessica Gillingham, founder and CEO of Abode Worldwide, added: “Stewart, Madeleine and Jenny bring enormous experience across hospitality, technology, multifamily and the living sectors, which reinforces our specialisms in a big way.

“We’re excited to see how their passion and dedication will help us continue to set the standard for quality delivery, informed thinking and high-level advice for transformative technology solutions and enterprise operators across the global hospitality and living sectors.”
